Cotton flower and white musk… On the banks of the Nile Delta, the white gold of Egypt blooms. At the foot of the pyramids lie fields of cotton flowers, which in the setting sun seem to sparkle with white stars. PHAEDON PARIS imagines the scent of the cedar sap that the cotton flower would have sucked and transformed into a floral vapor, of musk and aldehydes.
